History

Since 2004, Momentum has developed greenfield projects in the Barnett Shale, the Piceance Basin and the Haynesville Shale and acquired gathering systems in Wyoming and East Texas. These assets consisted of 1,800 miles of pipeline, 10 processing & treating plants and 33,000 horse power of compression.

Our current gas gathering system, the Appalachia Gathering System, is a modern, fuel efficient system that provides customers with centralized compression, dehydration and multiple redelivery options in southwest Pennsylvania and northern West Virginia. The Appalachia Gathering System is currently in the construction phase and is expected to be in service during the first half of 2012.

Our team is continuing to develop several new greenfield projects in emerging oil and gas basins. These projects will again demonstrate Momentum’s commitment to the Principles of Safety, Performance and the Environment.
